An afternoon in Washington DC

While on our way to Europe, we had a short layover in Washington, DC. So we went sight-seeing! It was a cool January day, but very sunny. “1600 Pennsylvania Ave,” willie barked to the cab driver and we were on our way to the White House!

There was a lot of security surrounding the White House and many tourists, too. We just took a few quick shots there and made our way over to the majestic Washington Monument.

Washington, DC is a beautiful city, rich with history. We were lucky to be stuck here for a while.
